Spool or refill?

Two ways to buy PETG Translucent

Filament on a spool

Ready to print. Keep the reusable spool for your next refills.

Refill (without spool)

Cheaper and less waste: click the refill onto your reusable Bambu spool. Works in the AMS series.

Recommended values from Bambu Lab’s technical data sheet. With the RFID chip, your printer sets them automatically.

Dry PETG before use: it absorbs moisture quickly, which causes stringing and bubbles.

Tip: the fewer air gaps, the clearer your print. Single-wall prints (vase mode) or 100% infill are the most see-through.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What’s the difference between a spool and a refill?

It’s the same filament. A refill comes without a spool, costs less and clicks onto a reusable Bambu spool. If you don’t have a reusable spool yet, choose the spool version for your first roll.

How do I get the clearest prints?

Dry the filament first and avoid air gaps: print in vase mode with a single wall, or with 100% infill. A slightly higher nozzle temperature also helps the layers flow together.

Does PETG Translucent work in the AMS?

Yes, in the AMS and the AMS lite. Thanks to the RFID chip, the AMS recognises the colour and print settings automatically.

Can I order a colour that’s out of stock?

No, we only sell filament from stock. Click the colour you want in the colour chart and ask to be notified as soon as it’s back in stock.

How do I dry PETG?

8 hours at 65 °C in a drying oven, or in an AMS 2 Pro or AMS HT at 65 °C. Then store it airtight below 20% humidity, for example with desiccant.

How fast is delivery?

In-stock items are usually delivered within 1 to 3 working days in Belgium. Collection in Aalst is also possible.
