Bambu Lab PETG HF

PETG for high-speed printing

PETG HF is optimised for speed: it prints up to twice as fast as standard PETG, without oozing or clumping. The matte finish stays even at every speed, and it’s tougher and more heat-resistant than PLA.

Spool or refill?

Two ways to buy PETG HF

Filament on a spool

Ready to print. Keep the reusable spool for your next refills.

Refill (without spool)

Cheaper and less waste: click the refill onto your reusable Bambu spool. Works in the AMS series.

Swapping a refill

How to fit a refill onto the spool is explained step by step in the Bambu Lab wiki.

Recommended values from Bambu Lab’s technical data sheet. With the RFID chip, your printer sets them automatically.

Dry PETG before use: it absorbs moisture quickly, which causes stringing and bubbles.

Always use glue on the plate: it helps adhesion and makes the print easier to remove.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What’s the difference between a spool and a refill?

It’s the same filament. A refill comes without a spool, costs less and clicks onto a reusable Bambu spool. If you don’t have a reusable spool yet, choose the spool version for your first roll.

Will PETG HF come back in stock?

No. Bambu Lab has discontinued PETG HF, so we’re selling the remaining stock. For new projects, choose PETG Basic, Bambu Lab’s renewed PETG.

Does PETG HF work in the AMS?

Yes, in the AMS and the AMS lite. Thanks to the RFID chip, the AMS recognises the colour and print settings automatically.

How do I dry PETG?

8 hours at 65 °C in a drying oven, or in an AMS 2 Pro or AMS HT at 65 °C. Then store it airtight below 20% humidity, for example with desiccant.

How fast is delivery?

In-stock items are usually delivered within 1 to 3 working days in Belgium. Collection in Aalst is also possible.
