The P2S builds on the popular P1S with Bambu Lab’s second-generation technology. This combo includes the AMS 2 Pro: multicolour printing and filament drying in one box. Enclosed, fast and ready for engineering and fibre-reinforced filaments.

Servo extruder with 70% more force
The PMSM servo motor delivers up to 8.5 kg of extrusion force and detects filament grinding and clogs in real time.
Automatic flow calibration
An eddy current sensor measures nozzle pressure and adjusts the flow for consistent extrusion in every layer and corner.
Adaptive airflow system
Cool outside air for PLA with the door closed, or heat retained up to 50 °C in the chamber for ABS and ASA, cleaned by a carbon filter.
AI error detection
A 2 TOPS NPU spots spaghetti, nozzle clumping and purge chute jams, and checks the start of every print.
30-second nozzle swap
One clip releases the whole hotend, with no wiring to disconnect. Also works with H2D hotends.
High Flow hotend →AMS 2 Pro with filament drying
Switches automatically between 4 spools and dries your filament with active venting. Expandable to 4 AMS 2 Pro and 4 AMS HT units, 20 slots in total.

Frequently asked questions
What’s the difference from the P1S?
The P2S adds a servo extruder with 70% more extrusion force, automatic flow calibration, an adaptive airflow system, AI error detection, a 5-inch touchscreen, a 1080p camera and a hardened steel nozzle as standard. The build volume stays at 256 × 256 × 256 mm.
Can I print carbon fibre filament?
Yes. The nozzle and extruder gear are hardened steel, so fibre-reinforced filaments such as PLA-CF, PETG-CF and PA6-CF are no problem.
Does the P2S have a heated chamber?
No, there’s no active chamber heating. A flap keeps the heat inside, up to about 50 °C, for warp-prone filaments such as ABS and ASA. If you want active chamber heating, take a look at the H2S.
Does the AMS 2 Pro also dry while printing?
Yes, but the AMS 2 Pro then needs a separate Bambu Lab power adapter, which is not included. When the printer is idle, the P2S powers the drying function of one AMS 2 Pro itself.
Do my old build plates fit?
Yes, the dimensions are the same. Only automatic plate type recognition doesn’t work with older plates.
