Bambu Lab X2D
Two nozzles, supports that peel right off
The X2D is the new generation of the premium X series. The main nozzle prints your model, the auxiliary nozzle prints supports in their own material. With an actively heated chamber up to 65 °C, a servo extruder and AI monitoring you get flagship quality without the price of the H series.
Why the X2D
Flagship quality, made accessible
Two nozzles
The main nozzle prints your model, the auxiliary nozzle prints supports in their own material. They peel off cleanly, and colour changes are faster with less waste.
Hard and soft in one print
Combine PLA and TPU in one model for grips, bumpers and bags that are ready to use straight off the bed.
Actively heated chamber
Nozzles up to 300 °C and a chamber actively heated to 65 °C: enough for most engineering filaments like ABS, ASA and nylon, with strong, flat prints.
Servo extruder
The PMSM servo motor on the main nozzle corrects pressure fluctuations 20,000 times per second, for smooth surfaces at full speed.
AI monitoring with two cameras
A live view and a toolhead camera check the build plate beforehand and watch for spaghetti, clumping and jams while printing. 31 sensors monitor the entire system.
Clean air, quiet
Three-stage filter with G3 pre-filter, H12 HEPA and activated carbon, below 50 dB. UL 2904 certified for indoor use with Bambu PLA Basic and PETG Basic.
Applications
Who is the X2D for?
Designers & makers
Complex models with overhangs, folds and internal channels, with supports that come off cleanly and leave no scars.
Engineering & prototyping
Strong parts in ABS, ASA, nylon and carbon fibre reinforced filaments, thanks to the heated chamber and hardened nozzles.
Education & makerspaces
Enclosed, quiet and with HEPA and carbon filters: suited to classrooms and shared workshops.
Technical specifications
The auxiliary nozzle prints slightly less finely than the main nozzle: use it mainly for supports or a second material. The X2D runs on 200–240 V.

Model and support
Put your model filament on the main nozzle and support filament on the auxiliary nozzle, so supports come off cleanly.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference with the X1-Carbon?
The X2D is its successor. It adds two nozzles (up to 25 colours), an actively heated chamber up to 65 °C, a servo extruder, filament tangle detection, AI monitoring with two cameras and support for the Vision Encoder.
Are the two nozzles identical?
The hotends themselves are identical and interchangeable. The auxiliary nozzle has a simpler drive and prints slightly less finely, so it is best to print the model itself with the main nozzle.
How many AMS units can I connect?
Up to 4 AMS 2 Pro and 8 AMS HT (24 slots), daisy-chained with 6-pin cables. With two nozzles that gives up to 25 colours. From three AMS units you need a 4-in-1 PTFE adapter; the AMS hub is not compatible.
Can I print carbon-fibre filament?
Yes. Both nozzles are hardened steel. Carbon and glass fibre reinforced PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, PA6, PAHT, PPA and PET are printed with the main nozzle.
How fast is delivery?
In stock means delivery in 1 to 3 working days. Out of stock? Order anyway and we’ll deliver as soon as it arrives.
