PLA Tough+ is a tough PLA with toughness on par with ABS and up to twice the layer adhesion of standard PLA. Ideal for clips, hinges, springs and other parts that flex often, yet just as easy to print as PLA.

Recommended values from Bambu Lab’s technical data sheet. With the RFID chip, your printer sets them automatically.
Because of the higher printing temperature, PLA Tough+ smells slightly stronger than regular PLA. Provide some ventilation.

Frequently asked questions
When should I choose PLA Tough+ over PLA Basic?
For parts that take knocks or flex often, such as clips, hinges and brackets. PLA Tough+ is much more impact-resistant and its layers bond more strongly, so parts break less easily.
Which support should I use?
Because the layers bond so strongly, it’s best to use Support for PLA or Support for PLA/PETG as the interface layer. The support then comes off easily.
Can I order a colour that’s out of stock?
No, we only sell filament from stock. Click the colour you want in the colour chart and ask to be notified as soon as it’s back in stock.
How should I store this filament?
Dry and airtight, below 20% humidity, for example with desiccant. If the filament has absorbed moisture, dry it: 8 hours at 55 °C in a drying oven.
How fast is delivery?
In-stock items are usually delivered within 1 to 3 working days in Belgium. Collection in Aalst is also possible.
