Bambu Lab A2L

Print extra large, without an extra-large budget

The A2L gives you a 330 × 320 × 325 mm build volume in an open, fully automatic printer. Adaptive vibration compensation and built-in dampers keep even large, tall prints crisp. With the optional cutting and drawing module it also cuts stickers, vinyl and leather.

Why the A2L

Big, stable and versatile

Generous build volume

330 × 320 × 325 mm: 105% more space than the 256 mm class. A full helmet in one piece, or a whole batch of small prints in one go.

Adaptive vibration compensation

Continuously retunes vibration compensation to the toolhead position and the growing weight on the bed. The last layer comes out as clean as the first.

Granular dampers

Two dampers inside the frame absorb remaining vibration, for less ghosting and ripples, even at full print height.

Cutting and drawing

With the optional cutting module the A2L cuts stickers, vinyl, paper and leather up to 0.5 mm thick, and with the pen holder it draws.

Smart monitoring

The servo extruder and sensors detect nozzle clumping, grinding or tangled filament and air printing, and pause the print in time.

Fully automatic calibration

Levelling, Z-offset and flow dynamics: handled automatically before every print. No paper tricks, no fiddling with screws.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference with the A1?

Besides 105% more build volume, the A2L has a PMSM servo extruder, adaptive vibration compensation, two granular dampers in the frame, a mounting point for the cutting module and more reliable nozzle-clumping detection. The bed reaches 80 °C, enough for PLA and PETG.

How many colours can I print?

With one AMS lite, 4 colours. You can combine up to 4 second-generation AMS units (such as the AMS 2 Pro or AMS HT) with 1 AMS lite, for up to 19 colours.

What do I need for cutting and drawing?

Just the cutting and drawing kit, with the cutting module, pen holder, cutting mat and accessories. You align with your smartphone camera via the Bambu Handy app.

Can the A2L laser engrave?

No. As an open printer, the A2L does not support a laser module for safety reasons. If you want to print and laser cut, have a look at the H2 series Laser Full Combo.

How quiet is it, and can it be used indoors?

In silent mode it stays below 49 dB, in standard mode around 52 dB. The A2L is UL 2904 certified for low indoor emissions when used with official filaments.

How fast is delivery?

In stock means delivery in 1 to 3 working days. Collection in Aalst is also possible.
