Recommended values from Bambu Lab’s technical data sheet. With the RFID chip, your printer sets them automatically.
Dry PLA Silk+ right after opening, even though it’s vacuum-sealed. For the best gloss, print the outer wall at 50 mm/s.

Frequently asked questions
What’s the difference from regular silk PLA?
PLA Silk+ is glossier and its layers bond better. With silk filament you used to have to choose between gloss and strength; with Silk+ you don’t.
Does PLA Silk+ work in the AMS?
Yes, in all AMS models. Do dry the filament before use for the best result.
Can I order a colour that’s out of stock?
No, we only sell filament from stock. Click the colour you want in the colour chart and ask to be notified as soon as it’s back in stock.
How should I store this filament?
Dry and airtight, below 20% humidity, for example with desiccant. If the filament has absorbed moisture, dry it: 8 hours at 55 °C in a drying oven.
How fast is delivery?
In-stock items are usually delivered within 1 to 3 working days in Belgium. Collection in Aalst is also possible.
