Me Infrared Receiver Decode

The Me Infrared Receiver Decode module is designed for receiving infrared signals and controlling the robotics from the infrared remote control. The infrared receiver can receive signals well within 10 meters.

Makeblock updated this module to use a MCU instead of IC BC7210 in V3.0. It works the same as the previously used BC7210. The included Makeblock IR remote controller uses the NEC IR protocol.

The Makeblock Me series modules are designed to be simple to wire and easy to program. The controller is compatible with Arduino and each Me module comes with a Arduino library for easy programming.

Features

  • Better decoding than the V2.0 module
  • Easy wiring with 6-pin RJ25 connector
  • Labeled with blue tag and compatible with Me Orion
  • 2.54mm breakout pins for connecting with jumper wires
  • 16mm interval M4 mounting holes, compatible with Makeblock beams
  • On-board indicator LEDs for debugging and feedback

The included remote comes without a battery, you need a CR2032 battery for this remote.
