The FabLib library maker space allows users to acquire digital skills. With this, the library is initially facilitating, just like in times of the rise of the personal computer or the internet. At least as important, however, is that the accumulated knowledge and experiences then benefit the (local) community. The provision and sharing of information, one of the core functions of the library, is therefore also provided with the facilitation of a library's makerspace. Furthermore, the current social ambition to make citizens digitally literate is being fulfilled. By offering facilities and expert guidance & activity development, a library's makerspace is of great value for a library facility.

Our focus is not on the machines but on what is done with the tools. Therefore we provide tutorials so individuals can work with the tools.
We advice to get a 3 day training for your librarians. In this training we will get in depth in using the machines in the library context.
